I’m pretty sure everyone has seen this already, but I’m playing catch up with news.
Robert Pattinson who is in NYC (my stomping grounds) to film the movie ‘Remember Me’ started production today over by NYU and was mobbed by some freaking insane fans.
According to some reports the girls in the photo jumped/bypassed the security blockades and pretty much mobbed RPatz!!!
It is girls like this that gives Twilight fans a bad name. A good chunk of people think of Twilight fans as these crazy, stocker people who do just such things as these girls.
In truth, most Twilight fans are very respectful of the actors who portray Stephenie Meyer’s characters. The “good” fans know that the actors are real people who are portraying fictional characters. I will say this now Edward Cullen is not real. I find it really annoying that these whacked out fans continue to throw themselves as Rob and ask him to bite them.
Most of us (I’m not one of them yet) that have had the pleasure to come across Rob, Kristen, or any other Twilight cast member treat them with respect, ask them if they wouldn’t mind talking a picture and/or signing an autograph. We have all read the fan incounters where fans said that they are all very nice and happily will sign autographs or take pictures with you, so there is no need to throw yourself on them.
So from all the really annoyed Twilighters out there we say ‘Thanks 
‘ to those stupid, crazy girls for making the us all look like crazy fangirls!!!
