Glee Beats Rolling Stones to Top of Billboard Chart

The latest album from the Glee cast titled ‘Showstopper’ had debuted at #1 on the Billboard top 200 chart selling a total of 136K copies.

This is the second #1 on Billboard, having achieved their first #1 with ‘The Power of Madonna’ in April.

The ‘Showstoppers’ album is the 3rd full album following Glee the Music 1 & 2.

The Rollings Stones re-release of their album ‘Exile on Main Street’ came in at #2 with 76K copies sold.

‘Glee’ was recently renewed for a 3rd season on FOX due to the high ratings the show continues to get and is currently the highest rated new scripted series for this year.

You can currently pre-order what will most likely be the last ‘Glee’ album for a few months ‘Journey to Regionals’ on iTunes for $5.99.

The new album will include cover tracks of ‘Faithfully’, ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘To Sir With Love,’Over the Rainbow’, and more.
