Season 2 of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ went into production on location in Atlanta, GA yesterday!!!

TVD star Nina Dobrev tweeted the following “bloody” good picture!!

One is going to assume she is in her role as “Katherine” seeing as she returned in the season finale and went all knife happy on Uncle John (David Anders)!!

‘The Vampire Diaries’ returns will all new episodes Thursday Sept 9 on The CW
