My New Shoe Love ~ Jessica Pritchett

In fashion there are two things I’m obsessed with handbags and shoes!!  Handbags are easy to find, I can walk down any street in New York and buy one.

Shoes on the other hand are a different story, depending on the style (usually heels), I need a wide width which are hard to come buy and then I’m also a size 10, even Payless doesn’t always carry are their new trends in that size.

So I was very happy to be introduced to shoe designer Jessica Pritchett a few weeks ago at the Fashion Fights Cancer event by a mutual friend and fellow shoe lover Jordanna Stephen.

After talking to Jessica I was excited to see her designs!

After checking out her Fall/Winter 2010 collection on her site (jessicapritchett.com) I fell in love.  Her shoes are stylish, sexy, playful, full of color, and what might be the topper for me is the heel.  All her shoes have a stacked wood heel that looks amazing with the style of the shoe, but does require you to balance on a matchstick heel all night.  Every Jessica Pritchett shoe has a unique pink sole that is quickly becoming a trademark I have no doubt we will be seeing more of.

The price points for the Fall/Winter collection range from $165 – $300, so very much in the affordable range as all shoes are crafted in Northern Portugal and use patent leathers, vibrant suedes, and muted metallics which will allow these shoes to last years in your collection.

My absolute favorite from the F/W 2010 collection is the Audrey in Cobalt (shown below)

Shoes are available online via www.jessicapritchett.com and come in sizes 6 to 13 (wide sizes go from 9W to 13W).
