‘X-Men: First Class’ the next film in the wildly popular X-Men film series is due out this summer and 20th Century Fox has just released 2 images from the film plus the first one sheet/teaser poster!

‘X-Men: First Class’ is showing the story of Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) and Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender) who were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were closest of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-MEN (official summery from 20th Century Fox)

The film was directed by Matthew Vaughn who has directed films like ‘Stardust’ and last years surprise hit ‘Kick Ass’.

The first image is of Charles Xavier (Professor X) and Erik Lehnsherr (Magneto) as they share a friendly game of chess.

The second image is of Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto who is determined to exact revenge on the monstrous evil who “created” him.

Forth image features Erik Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender, left foreground) and Charles Xavier (James McAvoy, right foreground) lead Cassidy (Caleb Landry Jones, left), Raven Darkholme (Jennifer Lawrence), Dr. Moira McTaggert (Rose Byrne), Hank McCoy (Nicholas Hoult), and Alex Summers (Lucas Till) in a battle to prevent nuclear war.

‘X-Men: First Class’ is one of several comic book movies being released this summer and will be in the theater’s on June 3, 2011.
