We hit the “blue” carpet tonight for the USA Network Upfront event and got some scoop on “White Collar”, “Covert Affairs”, “Psych”, and the new show “Suits”.
Network Upfront’s have begun. USA Network kicked off upfronts with their event held on May 2, 2011 at Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center here in New York City and invited members of the press and advertisers to show off their character and help celebrated USA’s fifth year at #1.
We were on hand on the “blue” carpet and got to chat with “White Collars” Tim DeKay (Peter Burke) who confirmed there will be some flashback scenes for both Neal and Peter along with more role switching and undercover scenes for our favorite FBI agent and “former” thief. Peter Gallagher (“Covert Affairs”) also stopped to say hi and chat about his role as “Arthur Campbell” who confirmed that he will be back this season, and we should be seeing more scenes between Arthur and Joan that will hopefully be outside of the CIA seeing that a new set was built for the Campbell House.
Timothy Omundson from “Psych” was on hand to give us a little scoop that his character might just be falling love this season with a not so good girl!
The cast of USA’s newest show “Suits” stopped by and actor Patrick J Adams gave us the scoop on his character “Mike Ross” who comes from other side of the tracks and is a college dropout. Due to his gift to retain knowledge he gets hired on as a lawyer at biggest law firm in New York and works to keep his non-college educated status from co-worker like co-star Gabriel Macht who plays “Harvey Specter”.
During the presentation guests enjoyed USA character-infused cocktails, social media check-ins, and an exclusive performance by USA Character Approved Honoree and three-time Grammy Award nominee, Janelle Monae. Guest also snacked on gourmet cuisine from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Events.
