The first season of NBC’s The Voice has come to an end and America has voted itself a winner!!!  So congratulations to Javier Colon from Team Adam, who not only won America’s hearts but also our votes.

After a 2 hour finale four performance last night which included all the four finalists - Javier Colon, Vicci Martinez,Beverly McClellan, and Dia Frampton not only performing duets with their celebrity coach, but also performing original songs as their finale performance number.

It all came down tonight.  After performances that paired each finalist up with other celebrity vocalists: Vicci Martinez and Train’s Pat Monahan: “Drops of Jupiter”, Javier Colon and Stevie Nicks: “Landslide”, Beverly McClellan and OneRepublic’s Ryan Teder: “Good Life”, Dia Frampton and Miranda Lambert: “The House That Built Me”

When the time came, it was announced that the top two finalists were Dia Frampton and Javier Colon, with Colon being announced as the first ever winner of The Voice (BTW – the difference between Dia and Javier was 2%).
