FOX announced not only the host for the 2011 Teen Choice Awards, but also a new special category that is now open for voting.

Actress Kaley Cuoco (“Big Bang Theory”) will host the Teen Choice Awards when it airs live on Aug 7th at 8pm ET on FOX.   Additionally, pop group OneRepublic and teen sensations Selena Gomez & the Scene are set to perform at the 13^th annual awards ceremony.

TEEN CHOICE 2011 also announced the nominees for its final voting category of the summer:

The special, which celebrates the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion, will also feature a DJ set by will.i.am and a performance by Jason Derülo.
