Next month actress Michelle Williams (“Dawson’s Creek”, “Blue Valentine”) will star as the iconic Marilyn Monroe in “My Week With Marilyn”.
Marilyn Monroe was a classic beauty with a classic look so we partnered with Celebrity make-up artist Stacey Ellis of Byu-Ti Salon/LA to get a step by step guide on how to copy Michelle’s ‘Marilyn Monroe’ look using Smashbox cosmetics.
Face: For this flawless matte look, brush Camera Ready Full Coverage Foundation over the face building up where more coverage is needed. Dust the cheeks with Blush Rush color Passion.
Eyes: Using the Eyelights Smokebox Palette apply the lightest shade over the eyelid, up to the brow line and into the inside corners. Apply a light layer of the Pewter/mid-tone from the outer corner blending into the crease half way across
the eye lid. Dust a little of the black on the bottom lash line from the outer corner, in. Create a bold cat eye with Limitless Waterproof Liquid Liner Pen. Finish the eyes with Full Exposure Mascara and define the brows with Brow Tech waterproof pencil and setting gel.
Lips: Apply Photo Finish Lipstick color Legendary and blot with a tissue then re-apply for this bold glamorous look!
