We have a slight obsession with handbags. We love everything from the tote to the cross body to the clutch to everything in between. We are always looking for great styles and designers to add to our ever growing collection. This is why we are currently obsessing about the Free Endearment line of handbags.
We were first introduced to Free Endearment as part of our “Shop Pink” list. We then had the opportunity to meet the designer behind Free Endearment Jaclyn Morse to discuss not only the concept behind Free Endearment’s designs but get a sneak peek at her Spring/Summer 2012 collection.
Free Endearment is all about creating handbags that work for you whether its designing a tote bag “Jessica” that is great of carrying around all your essentials including your laptop or ipad; or creating a bag like the “Kristel” which easily transitions from a cross-body bag for day into a chic clutch for evening use; or the “Meredith” – a wallet that can hold everything including your smartphone.
For F/W 2011 (available now) Jaclyn uses a mix of bright colors and neutrals to create a create collection that pulls in this season’s trend of color blocking in a great way.
For Spring/Summer 2012, Jaclyn is brining the hottest colors of rose, grey, tan and mustard straight of the runway and adding in the intricate designs using laser cutting. The laser cutting detail creates a soft, feminine look to every piece in the collection. And since we know color blocking is not going anywhere soon, pieces like “Courtnee” and “Kristina” will help you keep this look as easy part of your wardrobe.
