Following in the footsteps of the SAG Awards, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association announced the nominees for the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards.
Making the early morning announcement this year was Sofia Vergara, Gerarad Butler, Rashida Jones and Woody Harrelson. In the Motion Picture categories The Artist leads the way with 4 nominations including one for Best Comedy/Musical. While Rooney Mara might have gotten snubbed over at the SAG Awards, she did score a Best Actress, Drama nomination for her role in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Moving over to Television, Modern Family leads the way with 3 nominations while Madeleine Stowe picked up a nomination for her brilliant portrayal as Victoria Grayson in Revenge and Zooey Deschanel picked up a nomination for her fun take on Jess in The New Girl.
