When we last saw the Gallagher family Fiona stood Steve up at the airport, Karen was in a drug fueled self-destructing spiral and Frank was caught in the middle; Lip was caught cheating on the SAT’s and Ian officially came out of the closet.  When season two starts its summer time in Chicago and the Gallagher clan are up to the usual summer time tricks which include a day-care run by Debbie and Carl, Lip is running under ground fights and helping Kevin with the annual ice cream/pot truck, Ian is still working at Kash and Grab and Fiona is enjoying her only time of the year to let loose (along with bar tending with Veronica).  The goal is earn enough money for their “squirrel fund” to last them through the winter.

We’ve seen the first four episodes of season two and all we can say is that the second season of Shameless is even better than season one.  The Gallagher family along with Veronica, Kevin, Shelia and Karen have all new issues to deal with and their own unique way of dealing with them.Shameless stars Emmy Rossum,William H.
