AMC Officially Announces Premiere Dates for Mad Men and The Killing

AMC has finally announced what many of us already knew (we even tweeted earlier this week) and that is the long awaited return of Mad Men.

During their TCA press day, AMC officially announced that Mad Men will premiere its 5th season on March 25th.  It was also announced that the second season premiere of The Killing will happen on April 1st with a 2-hour season opener at 8pm; The Killing will return to its 9m time slot the following week. And for a bit of scoop – we hear confirmation that Rosie’s killer will be revealed in season 2 season FINALE.

The networks unscripted show Comic Book Men will premiere on February 12th at 10pm following The Walking Dead when the hit zombie show returns for its mid-season premiere.  It was also announced that The Walking Dead has been given 3 additional episodes for season 3 which will bring next years episode count to 16.  The hit show’s first season was only 6 episode while its current second season is 13.
