Best Dressed at the 2012 SAG Awards

Best Dressed at the 2012 SAG Awards

Following the Golden Globes two weeks ago, the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards mark the second major red carpet event of the year.  Many fashion statements were made, even some looks, hot off of the couture runways in Paris last week. Namely, Zoe Saldana who we bow down to for donning Givenchy Couture spring 2012.

Rose Byrne took a risk, wearing a cream colored jumpsuit by Elie Saab and pulled it off with ease. Emma Stone arrived in fashion favorite Alexander McQueen and Diane Lane opted for a sapphire, one shoulder Grecian inspired David Meister gown. Glee girls, Lea Michele and Naya Rivera wore Versace and Naeem Khan respectively.

Angelina Jolie was flawless as ever in a liquid black gown by Jenny Packham, getting us even more excited to see what the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week designer will show on the runway in two weeks time.

Always gorgeous and even more so hilarious, Sofia Vergara was hot in a pink, strapless Marchesa number. Also going vibrant was Michelle Williams in a classic red Valentino dress with lace shoulders, which suited her hair and skin tone flawlessly. Kyra Sedgwick was another who chose red, in a body hugging Pucci gown.

Julie Bowen radiated in a magenta gown by Temperley London, while Octavia Spencer went neutral in Tadashi Shoji.
