Tadashi Shoji Fall 2012

Inspired by the Golden Age of Shanghi, the Tadashi Shoji Fall 2012 Collection was full of glamour and sparkle that we crave in gowns.

Featuring beautiful mixes of chantilly lace, chiffon, silk, and velvet, Tadashi took his inspiration and gave it an old Hollywood glamour spin to it.  Our favorites include black and gold tea-length gowns and black and nude embroidered lace and tules gowns, but our hearts fluttered when the final gowns of the collection made their way down the runway.  These gowns were made of velvet, and with a combo of a sweetheart neckline paired with a seagrass velvet; black velvet mixed with a lace bodice; and the stunning flame red velvet with beaded back detail; we cannot wait to see these gowns make their red carpet debut.

Sitting front row this season was actress/comedian Aisha Tyler and Angela Simmons.
