Pop of Culture” campaign as Lythgoe gives new the  internet’s most talented amateurs a one-night-only performance that can make or break the career of their dreams. Each act will be teamed with a superstar headliner to open a show on their current world tours, including:

With ‘Opening Act’, we are democratizing a notoriously impossible process, pulling back the curtains on a consistently fascinating industry, and affording aspiring artists the chance of a lifetime. Each one has their own distinct story, but they all dream of their one chance to shine. Every week, we’ll provide that spotlight …and turn it up to 10,000,000 watts.”

Opening Act” premieres July 9 at 10:00 pm ET/PT

Starting in August, E! goes behind the scenes of live of 1/3 of The Jonas Brothers with ”Married to Jonas”.  Join Kevin and Danielle Jonas as they share their lives with America in this new series from Ryan Seacrest Productions.

“I vividly recall believing from the very first time that I met them that the Jonas Brothers would, without a doubt, become a worldwide cultural sensation. Given their tremendous musical talents, kindness, humor and good looks, their eventual stardom wasn’t a surprise to anyone. When we learned that Dani married Kevin, our production team became curious about what life would be like for a young bride entering the excitement, and sometimes chaos, of a pop star’s life,” said Executive Producer Ryan Seacrest. “Looking through the lens of young love, the show will examine the ups and downs of Dani and Kevin’s marriage, against the backdrop of their contrasting family cultures, traditions and individual careers.”

“Married to Jonas” premieres August 19th at 10pm ET/PT

E!’s Wednesday nights are about to get a little funnier thanks to the new show “Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings”.   We’ll get Whitney’s biggest pop culture and celebrity happenings, to life, relationships, sex, and more. Equipped with only a microphone and her laptop, and joined by celebrity guests and comedian friends, including sidekick Julian McCullough.

“This show gives me a chance to get back to my stand-up roots,” said Cummings. “And I’m really excited to be able to say (almost) whatever I’d like on TV again. So thanks, E!”

“Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings” premieres  in late 2012 after the Soup.
