It’s been no secret that No Doubt has been recording new music, and now for the first time in a year and a half, the Grammy winning band will be performing live during the TEEN CHOICE 2012 Awards.

Lead singer Gwen Stefani said, “I can’t believe this is actually happening. The idea of playing our new music live is heaven on earth. Can’t wait to share it!!” Added bassist Tony Kanal, “We’re so stoked to finally start performing these new songs live. And to be doing the first performance of our first single here in Los Angeles makes it even more awesome.”

The TEEN CHOICE Awards celebrate teen icons in television, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and the web and the winners are based solely on the votes of fan.  You can see the full list of Nominees here .
