On the SYTYCD Judging Panel: Nigel Lythgoe – Executive Producer Mary Murphy — Ballroom Expert Adam Shankman – Guest Judge (Film Director & Producer, Choreographer) Before the auditions begin Mary reminds the dancers of what they are most definitely not looking for… and Adam Shankman playfully demonstrates. The rules:

1. No booty shaking
2. No self-worship (rubbing and touching yourself)
3. No reach (the dramatic arm grasp-extension, “reach”)
