One thing we love is affordable fashion so when we were given a first look a the new Princess Vera Wang Collection launching a Kohl’s next month we gave a tween worthy squel of delight.
While the collection is geared for the younger consumer, like the adorable eyelet shorts or crown earrings; items like the navy colorblock sweater or fun peasant blouse can work for women a little older (I’m in my 30′s and love the blouse). The fun birdcage necklace makes for a fun statement accessory and the hot pink quilted handbag is great when you need a pop of color of your standard all black outfit.
We had a chance to style and play out with all the pieces mentioned above on our beauty/accessories writer Nicole, so we hit the streets of New York and put together two fun outfits (you can see the images in the slideshow below).
Look #1 – For a casual, fun night out we paired the Princess Vera Wang peasant blouse and the eyelet shorts with a pair of chunky platform heels and sunglasses. This look is perfect for a late summer girls night out or chilling for drinks on a sunny rooftop.
Look #2 – Want a look that is a little more classic? Try pairing the navy colorblock sweater with a pair of white capri or skinny jeans and black ballet flats. Add the birdcage necklace and handbag to the mix for some fun statement pieces.
Now for the best part, the Princess Vera Wang Collection will be launching exclusively at Kohl’s stores nationwide and online starting July 9th! This means all the looks in the collection will be super budget friendly.
