Comic Con 2012 – See The Walking Dead Season 3 Trailer

Mark your calendars and set those DVR Walking Dead fans, the hit zombie show will officially return on Sunday, October 14. Comic Con fans were treated to this news along with the first official trailer for season 3.

This season features many fan favorites: The Prison, which is the survivors new fortress after the farm was overrun with walkers at the end of season 2; Michonne, who we saw saving Andrea with her weapon of choice, the katana sword; and the new baddie The Governor.

Attending the panel this year was Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Laurie Holden (Andrea), Steven Yuen (Glenn), and Laura Cohan (Maggie) were joined onstage by new cast members Danai Gurira (Michonne) and David Morrissey (The Governor), along withWalking Dead comic book co-creator/emergent geek god Robert Kirkman, exec producers David Alpert and Gale Ann Hurd, exec producer/zombie makeup maestro Greg Nicotero, and showrunner Glen Mazzara.
