Once Upon A Time creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz promised us that in season 2 we would meet Henry’s father, it was later revealed that this introduction would happen sooner rather than later in the seasons forth episode.
Well now we have a your first look at Henry’s dear old dad and he might look VERY familiar to you, seeing as we’ve technically already been introduced. The “mysterious man” from the first 2-minutes of the season 2 premiere and Henry’s father are one in the same, only now we have a name - Neal Cassady (played by True Blood vet Michael Raymond-James).
Now, if you read our recap of the season 2 premiere then you’ll know we have a pretty good idea at who Mystery Man/Neal Cassady is, and it involves Mr. Gold, and if we turn out to be right on this that means Henry is pretty darn special.
Episode 4 “Tallahassee” gives us the long awaited back story of Ms. Emma Swan and also introduces us to another new Fairytale character the “Giant” (guest star Jorge Garcia, “Lost”). With the hopes of finding a magical compass that could help her and Mary Margaret get back to Storybrooke, Emma takes a journey with a not-too-trustworthy Captain Hook up a treacherous beanstalk in an attempt to steal the item from a murderous giant.
You can get your first look at Henry’s dad and Emma back in the day below, and be sure to check back next week for some more spoiler goodness.
An all new Once Upon A Time airs this Sunday, October 28 at 8pm on ABC.
