It is hard to believe we are in the middle November sweeps and the winter/holiday hiatus is just around the corner for network TV programming. What this is means is changing of schedules as networks introduce their mid-season launches or cancel freshman series that just couldn’t get the rating.

Both NBC and FOX have already announced their plans for programming when shows return in January 2013 and we fully expect announcements from CBS and The CW within the next few weeks.

NBC Mid-Season

NEW SERIES:

• Deception: Monday, Jan. 7 at 10 p.m.
• 1600 Penn:Thursday, Jan. 10 at 9:30 p.m.
• Ready for Love: Sunday, March 31 from 8-10 p.m.

RETURNING SERIES:

• The Voice: Season four Tuesday-Wednesday, March 25-26
• Revolution: Returns Monday, March 25 at 10 p.m.
• The Biggest Loser: Sunday-Monday, Jan. 6-7. The series will air Mondays from 8-10 p.m. until the return of The Voice.
• Smash: Tuesday, Feb. 5 9-11 p.m., returning Feb. 12 for its regular day/time at 10 p.m.
• Community: Thursday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m.
• Parks and Recreation: Move back an hour to 8:30 p.m. starting Jan. 17.
• The Celebrity Apprentice: Sunday, March 3 from 9-11 p.m. for four weeks then moving to one-hour episodes starting March 31 at 10 p.m.
• Betty White’s Off Their Rockers: Jan. 8 with back-to-back episodes at 8 and 8:30 p.m.
