Tonight marked the start to 2013 awards season with the People’s Choice awards hosted by Bing Bang Theory actress Kaley Cuoco.  We’ve already given our take on the shows red carpet looks and but what about the actual winners?

Kaley Cuoco Hosts 2013 Peoples Choice Awards

Well some of the predictable winners were Taylor Swift for Favorite Country Artist, Jennifer Lawrence won both Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Face of Heroism, The Hunger Games won four awards including Favorite Movie, and Nathan Fillion beat out all the men from The CW for Favorite Dramatic TV Actor.

There were also some surprises during the night like Jennifer Aniston beating out Emily Blunt and Mila Kunis for Favorite Comedic Movie Actress, both Chris Colfer and Lea Michele beat out those nominated from Modern Family to win Favorite Comedic TV Actor/Actress, and The Wanted beat out One Direction for Favorite Breakout Artist.

Kaley was once again a gem to watch as host (plus she and the cast of Big Bang Theory took home the Favorite TV Comedy award), and Jason Aldean, Alicia Keys, and Christina Aguilera performed live.
