The Oscars red carpet is the event of the season to dress up for and the stars came out decked out to the nines tonight, bringing our runway fantasies to life. This year, we saw lots of neutral tones, metallics and sharp black and white.
Stealing the show, Charlize Theron donned an all white Dior Couture gown. Hot on her train was Jennifer Lawrence, also in Dior Couture. And apparently the gown was the only one Jennifer tried on, but she knew right away that it was “the one”.
Kelly Rowland went for a starkly contrasting black and white gown by Donna Karan Atelier, while Zoe Saldana radiated in a soft, violet-white Alexis Mabille gown. Also in pale grey shades, Amanda Seyfriedwore Alexander McQueen and Amy Adams chose a voluminous Oscar de la Renta gown.
Going for gold, Catherine Zeta-Jones came back with a vengeance in a gorgeous gown by Zuhair Murad.
Adding bold pops of color to the mix, Jennifer Aniston wore a bright red Valentino gown and Kerry Washington arrived in a coral gown by Miu Miu. Opting for a more subdued hue, Jennifer Hudsonshimmered in a metallic navy Roberto Cavalli look.
The men looked sharp tonight as well, with Eddie Redmayne and Channing Tatum drawing attention in Alexander McQueen and Gucci respectively.
