Sergio Davila Draws Inspiration From His Peruvian Roots For His Fall 2013 Collection

Peruvian designer Sergio Davila made a statement at this year’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week with a men’s and women’s collection that was edgy and had influences of his home country. The front row featured celebs like Alex McCord of Real Housewives of New York and Maksim Chmerkovskiy of Dancing With The Stars.
Beautifully tailored jackets, pants, and dresses were the centerpiece of this show with a neutral color palette of brown, black, beige, and red. The designer’s Peruvian roots were incorporated throughout the show with a twist on traditional sweaters and scarves.
This show highlighted traditional influences with an edgy twist that had everyone in attendance making sure that they will have one of his elegantly structured jackets to brave the city streets this fall.
