Aw tequila, nectar of the margarita gods. Today, July 24th, is national tequila day so what better way to celebrate than with these tasty tequila recipes.
CRUZ Old Fashioned
CRUZ Tequila is authentic 100% estate grown blue agave tequila, handcrafted in small batches to ensure the finest quality possible. Its smooth flavor and subtle caramel notes inspire even the most novice tequila drinker to confidently experiment with tequila-based cocktails beyond the traditional margarita!
2 parts Cruz Reposado Tequila
½ part simple syrup
2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
2 dashes Orange bitters
1 slice orange rind
1 slice grapefruit rind
Combine all ingredients except rinds with ice and stir for 40 seconds. Garnish with an orange and grapefruit rind.
Cruz Desayuno, For the Manhattan lover.
2 parts Cruz Silver Tequila
1 part Dolin Blanc Vermouth
1/2 part Green Chartreuse
1 dash Orange Bitters
Stir all ingredients; strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a Grapefruit peel (optional).

2 parts Tres Agaves Blanco Tequila
1 part Aperol
¾ part fresh-squeezed lemon juice
½ part fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice
1 edible flower, for garnish
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with the flower.

1 ½ parts Tres Agaves Reposado Tequila
½ part St. Germain or Thatcher’s Organic Elderflower Liqueur
2 part fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice
½ part fresh-squeezed lime juice
1 part soda water
Grapefruit slice or lime wedge, for garnish
Combine all ingredients, except soda water, in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a tall glass with fresh ice, then add soda water. Garnish with grapefruit slice or lime wedge.
