Glee goes to Comic-Con

Rounding out the Comic-Con weekend was the ‘Glee’ panel that featured co-creator Ryan Murphy, Chis Coffer, Amber Riley and more.

What did we find out during the hour long panel?  Well we will get less tribute episodes next season as well as less musical numbers per episode.  Last season the average was 8 per episode, next season we will get around 5.   Included in the planned tribute episodes is Britney Spears and after Chris Coffer (Kurt) was asked what musical number he would love to do, his answer of ‘Time Warp’ prompted Murphy to admit they are also planing a ‘Rocky Horror Picture Show’ episode!!

We will also see more numbers featuring Mercedes, Kurt will get his boyfriend, and shocker of all Tina C. and Artie will break up after Tina C. starts crushing on Mike Chang!!

Murphy also confirmed that both Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth will be back in season 2!!

Update – Confirmed Mark Ruffalo to be the new “Hulk”

**Update – It has now been confirmed that Mark Ruffalo will portray “Hulk” in the Avengers!! During the Marvel Comic-Con Panel, the entire cast of the film made a surprise appearance which included Jeremy Renner as ‘Hawkeye’ and Ruffalo as Dr. Banner/Hulk. **

As it was reported last week Ed Norton will not be reprising his role as “Dr. Banner/Hulk” in the upcoming superhero’s flick “The Avengers”.

According to Deadline.com, Mark Ruffalo has finished up talks to sign on as the temperamental doctor.

The Joss Whedon directed flick is set to open in May 2012 and will star Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Chris Evens as Steve Rogers/Captain America, and Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury.

Ruffalo will the the third actor to take on the ‘Hulk’ since 2003.  Eric Bana attempted the role in the horrible Ang Lee “Hulk, and Ed Norton took on the hole in the much better “The Incredible Hulk” in 2008.
