Veloce Hats, Perfect Nod to a Retro Summer
As a child of the late 80′s/90′s I fondly remember certain fashions; the leg-warmers, stir-up pants, swatch watchs, etc.
One thing that always sticks out in my mind is the “flip” hat, you know the ones, they look like a baseball cap but the front of the hat flips up revealing a design, logo, etc.
These were all the rage when I was a kid, and like most fashion trends, these are coming back.
Veloce hats are some of the best throw back to those hats that beach goers loved to wear.
A combo of a vollyball and cycling cap, the Veloce hats come is fun, bright colors perfect for the summer.
Don’t be afraid to try one to these bright, colorful, fun hats next time your headed to the beach, park, or where ever this summer.
Even better, they are a fashion trend that is affordable, Veloce Hats retail for $20!!
You can order these hats at VeloceHats.com!!
Ashley Falcon – Marie Claire’s New Plus Size Fashionista
Marie Claire has a new fashion editor, meet Ashely Falcon.
Now why am I writing about a new writer over at one the top fashion mags..while because like me Ashley is plus-size.
To someone like me, having a plus-size fashion writer in a skinny bitch world is important, it helps to prove that there is a good chunk of people who read those magazines that are not size 2 or under.
I enjoy dressing well as much as the next girl, my only problem is my options are limited.
I just finished reading Ms. Falcon’s article online and loved what she had to say.
One line from the article stood out to me “Big girls love accessories—they always fit, no size tags required”. That right there is nothing but truth.
Marie Claire’s EIC Joanna Coles said “We’ve had such a response to her. It’s been really gratifying. Very real,” when asked about the response to hiring a size 20 fashion editor.
Well we say congrats to Ms. Falcon and look forward to reading more from here.
