We are 3 episodes in, and I swear Vamp Diaries just gets better each week!!

**Beware Spoilers Below, Read at your own risk**

I have to say I was a little shocked that they still decided to kill off Mr. Tanner but I have to say what was with Damon’s teeth when he went all vamp, it looked like he was missing a front tooth.

Anyhoo, Stefan joined the football team, and how great was the it when he put Tyler in his place.  Elena ditched cheerleading (thank god), and we got a good ole dose of High School Prep rally!!

I’m really loving Damon trying to hide his humanity (those who’ve read the books know its not really gone), and that end scene with Damon in Elena’s room made me go “AWWW”.

I’m a little disappointed that the make-out scene was a dream, I mean come on and we only got a tiny glimpse of Paul Wisely (Stefan) shirtless, but oh well!!

Overall, another good episode and next weeks looks interesting!!

Fox has order 9 more episodes to start filming in January with a late March/early February run date!!!

The show was originally picked up for 13 episodes with the chance of more depending on ratings, and since ratings are picking up every week, this was a “DUH” moment for FOX!!!

GLEE airs on FOX Wednesday’s @ 9pm!!

After watching last night Vampire Diaries, I’m now pretty sure Kevin Williamson knows what he’s doing.  Yes, there were some rather not-needed dialogue like Stefan and Elena telling each other what they would write in their diaries, or the attempted heart to heart “Don’t do drugs” talk from Aunt Jana.  But other then that is was pure goodness, and who was the break out star…Damon!!!

I have to have one of my favorite lines was ” Not bad! Have you been eating bunnies?” ,but when faced of either leaving it to chance that Stefan is willing to die rather then feed off humans, you can almost see that as bad as Damon is, he doesn’t want to lose his Brother.

Speaking of Stefan, got to love his shirtless opening scene.  So far we’ve seen him shirtless in every episode (Mr. Williamson please feel free to keep that up).

Between Stefan being shirtless and a rooftop battle of wills, we saw Jeremy finally getting noticed for his pot smoking, pill popping ways; more Bonnie is a witch but still figuring it out, Matt still being all moody over Elena, and Caroline trying to hook-up with Damon.

But the night ended with a pretty steamy first kiss between Stefan and Elena.  Which I have to say, I’m happy that the kiss happened pretty early on in the show.  Those of us who read the book know it took a few chapters before we saw Stefan/Elena hook-ups.

Now, based off the promo for last week (which ended with Elena screaming in her bra), I’m going to assume there might be some sex/heavy make-out scenes between our vamp/human couple.  In the books it was always eluded to but never confirmed (more like the exchanging of blood was like sex, but not the same) so I’m interested about how Williamson will work that out.

What did you think of last nights episode, are you still hooked?

Okay so I just watched the premiere episode of the Vampire Diaries!!  And here is what I thought.

It was pretty good, kept just enough from the books so that it didn’t go completely off track, but Kevin Williamson also played with the story well.  At first I didn’t like who they chose for Elena, but after watching her, I changed my mind, she plays the character well.

As usual my favorite is mis-unterstood bad boy Damon, and since we will see a lot more of him in the show then we do in the book, I’m excited to see where Williamson takes him!!

All in all, I give it a sold B, enough to keep me interested!!

Oh BTW, Twilight Exmainer posted a an interview earlier with Kevin Williamson, and he has this to say about Twilight “…hese are high school girls who actually read Twilight. We just wrote the scene where one of the girls finds out Ian Somerhalder’s a vampire, and her first comment is, “Why don’t you sparkle?”
